The Solid Ground series, in collaboration with the Hadi Teherani architectural firm, combines concrete and travertine to create a harmonious design that radiates stability and elegance. The series offers creative freedom with modern colors and a modular format system. One highlight is the 145 cm long travertine-look stair tiles.

Solid Ground was created in collaboration with Hadi Teherani Design: with architectural base materials and formats, creative scope was created for designers to develop their own expression for their project. A unique tile collection in which all elements harmonize with each other and, thanks to their perfectly conceived combination, bring to life diverse, always coherent design ideas.

Combinatorics in perfection

Beyond the aim of creating beautiful individual tiles, Solid Ground's objective is to perfect the combinatorics in such a way that all elements, as part of overarching design ideas, always produce something unseen. Basic colors and current natural shades as well as a modular format system provide creative freedom.

The overarching color concept is based on a finely graduated gray scale from Italian white to a warm Belgian gray to a cool Nordic gray. Intense shades such as red clay and mud green extend the spectrum in a warm and inviting direction, inspired by natural earth and clay colors.

Tone on tone

A total of 12 basic colors- 6 each for concrete look and travertine- form corresponding color tone pairs: here and on the following pages, the two designs in Red clay and Persian red meet to form a harmonious atmospheric unit.

The formats can also be perfectly combined: The 30 x 60 cm basic tile as well as an expressive 5 x 15 cm mosaic and a bar format complement each other to create a balanced overall picture or set accents in the room. Additional generous dimensions of up to 120 x 120 cm convey solidity and elegance as the basic feeling of Solid Ground.

Gentle wave

The principle of perfectly conceived combinations also applies to the wall: with a smooth and a relief surface, the matt stoneware tiles in 30 x 60 cm format match perfectly with each other and with the veined travertine look of the floor tiles. With its three-dimensional surface structure, the fine wave profile creates an additional haptic layer without being obtrusive. And, depending on the laying technique, creates playfully subtle images. The wall tiles in 3 light shades- grey green, natural white and Belgian grey- match the color matrix of the floor tiles.
