The classic basic shape of a stable sail in the outer area consists of four corner points, whereby two opposite points are formed either as high or low points. This opposing arrangement of the corner points results in a stable, three-dimensional saddle surface. Thanks to the special two-stage rolling system, the sun sail can be rolled onto the flat axis despite the three-dimensional, wind-stable geometry.
