4-Point Sails
Architonic ID: 20178480
The classic basic shape of a stable sail in the outer area consists of four corner points, whereby two opposite points are formed either as high or low points. This opposing arrangement of the corner points results in a stable, three-dimensional saddle surface. Many other shapes are possible using the same design principle- for example sails with five or six corner points.
