Bau Wow!

For some, January in Switzerland invokes images of white-topped mountains, alpine skiers and trusty St Bernards bounding through the snow to rescue errant hikers. For anyone with even a passing interest in construction or real estate, however, Basel and specifically Swissbau 2020 should be what springs to mind.

Swissbau is the leading trade fair for the Swiss construction and real estate sectors and takes place from 14 to 18 January 2020. Highlights this year include Swissbau Focus, whose motto is ‘Trial and Error’ and which will look at new and innovative approaches within the industry, and Swissbau Innovation Lab, which focuses on digital solutions, BIM and virtual reality. Add to this over 800 expert exhibitors, a series of guided tours by leading Swiss architects, and Swissbau 2020 really gives you something to bark about.

The iRoom Show is focused on the real project of 'Uptown Basel'. The innovation projects for the area compiled by more than 60 partners can thus be experienced on an interactive basis.
