The best of both worlds

On the southern edge of the small Swiss village of Latsch, the renovation of a 350-year-old, listed Engadine house undertaken by Felix Partner Architektur demonstrates how, in the right hands and with the right partners, the historical and the modern can be harmoniously merged. Locally sourced materials and local craftspeople pay tribute to the building’s heritage while simultaneously, state-of-the-art technology points to the future.
