A time and a place

For their new campaign 'Places of Memory', AXOR – makers of luxury bathroom and kitchen taps and accessories for over 25 years – have invited a selection of their design partners to explore a special personal memory. 

Each one represents a vivid, beautiful, profound recollection; an idyllic marriage proposal in rural Japan (she said, yes); the haunting, frozen Lake Baikal in Winter, evoked from an uncle’s stories alone; or the ever-changing light and weather of Trearddur Bay in Wales, looking out over the Irish Sea. These reminiscences are accompanied by dramatic imagery centred around nature.


The perfection of these individual moments from the past finds a parallel in the here and now in AXOR’s MyEdition faucet collection – in the individualisation it offers and in materials that evoke special times and places. And, of course, in AXOR’s principle: Form follows perfection.
