Architectural studio, based in Porto founded in 2007. The studio combines a strong concepted approach with the needs and aims of the clients. The work developed includes housing, commercial, offices/services projects and temporary installations. In addition to its own projects, the studio is available to develop ideas, collaborations and partnerships with artists, designers, architects and others in the development of projects, interventions and products.
Biography
Nuno Alves de Carvalho
Architect, based in Porto (Portugal), worked between 2005 and 2006 in Porto Alegre , RS – Brazil, with emphasis on the 1st place in the national architectural competition for Tecnologic Center of the University of Caxias do Sul ( in partnership with the Ideia1 architectural office). Back in Portugal in 2007 founded the architecture, art and design office URBAstudios. Between 2012 and 2014 was curator of the art space |entre linhas|and recently co-founded the Openfield CreativeLab. Art+Tech Space of creation, research, development and presentation in all kind of media.
