Profile

Intelligent room concepts, appealing materials and innovative appearance in private and public spaces are in the focus of the studio for interior and product design, based in Zurich. Regardless of whether it is new buildings, refurbishments or renovations, Studio Gessaga offers creative, tailor made and independent solutions, which are implemented from planning to realization in close coordination with the builders. This results in projects with a distinctive character, efficient functionality and sophisticated aesthetics.

Jérôme Gessaga

The owner of Studio Gessaga is a graduate of Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst in Basel and since then has worked as a qualified interior and product designer. From 2000-2014 he was co-owner of the interior architecture company Gessaga Hindermann GmbH. Jérôme Gessaga has also completed an architectural draughtsman apprenticeship at the architectural office of Trix and Robert Haussmann in Zurich as well as a cabinetmaker apprenticeship. Readings as lecturer at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and the Haute Ecole d'Art et de Design in Geneva round off his profile. Playing the drums is his passion and if he enjoys a little coffee break, the trained barista and coffee sommelier prepares himself a delicious ristretto.

For precise implementation and execution, Studio Gessaga has access to a network of experienced specialists and craftsmen covering a wide range of disciplines and meeting the high quality standards of the interior design office.
