MORE ABOUT SITLAND

Sitland describes itself as "a start-up company with 40 years of experience in the business”. Established in Vicenza in 1977, Sitland has long been a frontrunner in terms of engineering research and state-of-the-art technology applied to office and collective seating solutions. At the 2017 Salone del Mobile, it will showcase its brand-new wide range of products dedicated to the contract sector.
Commitment and creativity have long characterised the company and have led to the creation of sofas, armchairs, chairs and desk chairs which feature great designs, ergonomics and state-of-the-art technology, accompanied by the highest level of craftsmanship to perfect every minor aspect, from the finishings to the coatings and the processing stages. This attention to detail has long set Sitland apart from its competitors within the global chair manufacturing landscape.
The new contract solutions include products which feature high-quality industrial tailoring with an eye to the latest fashions and trends, and a selection of coatings which include neutral, elegant colours, light hints of colour, dichotomies in precious fabrics, precious skins, and woven materials, all from the most highly-acclaimed suppliers on a global scale, including the likes of Kvadrat, Gabriel and Camira.
Sergio Bellin, president of the company says that “the launch of the new contract catalogue marks a very important milestone for Sitland as it puts into practice the experience and know-how of almost 40 years of passion in the business. From today onwards, our mission will be to convey the value of the Sitland brand to the world by committing even more so to the growth of a beautiful, state-of-the-art company, which pays attention to people and the environment”.
The company has started to follow a Lean Production, with a view to minimising waste and increasing the quality of the products and services; this is also achieved by making important investments in machinery and technology. Sitland is certified by TUV, ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004. The latter attests to the attention and care Sitland displays towards the environment in terms of eco-compatibility, adopting a policy which aims to reduce waste and have low environmental impact.
Finally, Sitland confirms its international vocation through its presence in over 81 countries around the world.
