The company was founded in 1989 in Florence. Since its origins, Devon&Devon has merged inspirations from the Florentine Renaissance with the atmospheres of European tradition and with the charm of architectures and the most refined American design of the 1900s. RE-INVENTION OF SPACE

In three decades Devon&Devon has invented and reinvented products that have forever changed the way of enjoying the bathroom. In 1989, the built-in era, it offered the first Victorian design bathtub and the bathroom ceased being a functional location only to become a beautiful and unique environment dedicated to personal care. In 1991 the first 30 cm diameter shower head came onto the scene: it seemed like an exaggeration, but became a universal trend. Since then, it has been all about re-invention: the console (until then used only in entertaining spaces in the most important residences) made its appearance in the bathroom; wood panelling is re-proposed as ceramic wall- covering. Devon&Devon’s history- made of recovered traditions and redefined functions – is a continuous declaration of courageous anti- conventionalism.
