Tom de Paor
Biography
Tom de Paor b.arch F.RIAI Int.F.RIBA
Graduated from University College Dublin in 1991. He has been a regular visiting critic and lecturer there and at other schools of architecture internationally. Since 2016, he is Design Critic at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He was elected Fellow of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland and voted Young Architect of the Year by Building Design / Corus in 2003. He has been nominated for the BSI Swiss Architecture Award and the Mies Van der Rohe Prize, twice. In 2015 he was awarded membership of Aosdána, and in 2017 elected International Fellow of the RIBA.
