RYRA Studio

RYRA STUDIO is an award-winning architecture firm based in Tehran, Iran. Founded in 2000 by partners Farinaz Razavi Nikoo and Abbas Riahi Fard, RYRA STUDIO is a full service architecture and design firm specializing in custom residential, cultural, institutional and commercial buildings. Architectural designs are developed using innovative materials, advanced structural strategies, sustainable technologies, and guided from schematic design through the successful completion of construction.

RYRA approaches architecture with an emphasis on strategic planning, open spatial configurations, refined material detailing with the highest level of craftsmanship. Through research and analysis, the architects distill the parameters of site, structure, project brief and resources into strong sculptural forms at the scale of the landscape. The exterior and interior spaces created completely related to nature and the buildings’ immediate environment.

RYRA STUDIO has received numerous architectural awards, including International Architecture Awards from the Chicago Athenaeum in 2011 and 2012, World Architecture News in 2011 and World Architecture Festival in 2010. The works of RYRA STUDIO have been exhibited in London, Barcelona, Singapore, Buenos Aires, Istanbul and Tehran and published extensively, appearing on the covers of Concept, MEMAR, Architecture & Construction, Honar e Memari magazines and in the numerous1 architecture and design books.
