Kateřina Handlová

Kateřina Handlová is young designer recentely graduated at Academy of Arts, Design and Architecture in Prague, Czech republic. She is active as freelance designer in her studio.

Handlová works especially with glass that she combines with another passionate materials such as leather, metal or porcelain. Due to the great chance of living in glass reagion in Czech republic she takes the opportunity of creating fine crystal glass pieces. Kateřina takes attention to every single details on the glass, leather and any other component of her objects to create exceptional design pieces. She believes in beauty of emotional design and perfect craftsmanship.

She is inspired mainly by the life, nature, world of haut couture and contemporary japanese culture. Kateřina Handlová aims to bring design objects to interior that work as functional design as well as independent art objects.
