Depending on the light colour, our combination of solid mineral glass with natural gas resembles either sparkling water or bubbly champagne and has become the distinctive feature of our unique products.

A patented world‘s first

We‘re the only manufacturer in the world to have managed to create homogeneous, glare-free and dimmable project lighting which meets even the highest of standards (CE and UL-certified) using solid mineral glass and the latest diffuser technology.

Today, MASSIFCENTRAL mainly uses white glass for the pendants of its large canopy and ring chandelier. Its colour is precisely controlled via colour temperature (2,450, 2,700, 2,780 Kelvin) of the LED modules.

We develop, plan and implement your lighting project at our manufactory, working in close cooperation with you as an interior designer, architect or lighting designer.

Careful planning and pre-assembly – especially for specific ceiling brackets – allows us to get extensive light installations ready for installation on the other side of the world in time.

We‘ve never built the same lamp or installation twice since what‘s required from these objects is as diverse as the architectural surroundings they are installed in and as unique as their buyers.

MANUFACtURING WITH PASSION

The Seltmann brothers attribute their understanding of quality, reliability and design as well as their vast knowledge about glass, furnaces, material technology and electronics to their inalienable heritage passed down to them by four generations of Upper Franconian porcelain makers.

Innovation from Berlin

Their pioneering spirit and thirst for innovation were the driving forces behind the incorporation of a new company in Majorca in 2009. lcb Manufactur GmbH relocated its headquarters and production facilities to Berlin in June 2013. The manu- factory has been marketing its collection under the MASSIFCENTRAL brand name since January 2016.

We draw from over 100 years of experience and tradition in porcelain making, paired with new-generation interdisciplinary knowledge: from glass making, semi- conductor technology, lighting design and highly specialised polishing and welding techniques to CAD design, 3D printing and CNC milling technology – everything works in perfect symbiosis with our passion for handmade products.

each customer. Sophisticated production technology and high-quality engineering only allow for limited capacity and guarantee an exclusive luxury product which retains

its value.
