Das grosse Interesse des Ateliers ushitamborriello liegt in der Gestaltung eigenständiger, atmosphärisch dichter Räume. Das Team aus Szenographen, Innenarchitekten und Architekten machte sich in den letzten Jahren vor allem in der Hotellerie und Gastronomie einen Namen und schuf innovative Bäder und Wellness Anlagen. Ushi Tamborriello war - nach ihrem Innenarchitektur Studium an der Fachhochschule in Wiesbaden - von 1990 bis 1997 als freischaffende Innenarchitektin tätig. 1999 schloss sie den post graduate Studiengang der Film - und Fernseh Szenografie in München erfolgreich ab. Seit 2004 führt sie ihr Atelier in der Schweiz mit dem sie auf internationaler Ebene beachtete Inszenierungen realisiert. Entscheidend für ihr Schaffen ist das authentische Zusammenspiel von Proportion, Licht, Form, Material und Farbe, das die Identität des Ortes stärkt, seinen Funktionen Rechnung trägt und damit den Raum für vielfältige, bereichernde Begegnungen öffnet. Hospitality and branding count among the evident strengths of the Architecture office IDA 14 in Zurich. Here the focus is on the development of extensive, innovative room concepts with high recognition value and strong individuality. Just as much attention is paid to the requirements of use as to the design details. Another core competency is the design of shop-in-shop projects and international trade fair stand projects, which require a high degree of recognition while at the same time keeping the program flexible. IDA 14 also designs and offers advice on arts and culture projects. Refurbished private houses and apartments are also a part of the portfolio.
