Zanotta renews its collaboration, initiated in 2024, with the Belgian duo Muller Van Severen, presenting three new chests of drawers that expand the Z24 collection of sideboards and bedside tables, along with the new Z24 Book s bookcase. The new pieces play with shapes and colours, exploring surprising, dynamic geometries while reinterpreting the iconic zig-zag motif.
New geometries and vibrant colours
The three new items, the weekly chest of drawersZ24 / 785 and the two chests of drawersZ24 / 786 and Z24 / 787 , reinterpret the graphic zig-zag motif in a horizontal key, enriching the collection with new proportions and compositional possibilities, while the bedside table Z24 / 728 completes the bedroom area with a refined visual language. The pieces are available in the sizes 56×128 cm, 120×86 cm, 160×65 cm, and 42×50 cm, in a colour palette including talc, caramel, amaranth, meadow green, and black.
Versatility and material contrasts
The new freestanding bookcase Z24 Books, available in two heights (185 cm and 113 cm), can be positioned against a wall or at the centre of a room as a room divider. Frame in polished painted steel, colour talc, caramel, orange, amaranth, algae. Shelves in MDF veneered in natural varnished oak. The high version bookcases, if placed side by side, can be linked by means of a joint provided. The combination of materials and the zig-zag motif creates a striking visual rhythm and impact.
"We like to bring together surprising shapes, color combinations and materials. So that they form a kind of balance but also contrast with each other. But each addition of form should also have a meaningful functional purpose. The Z24 collection confirms Zanotta’s ability to expand its lines while consolidating their identity, transforming spaces from living areas to bedrooms with furniture that combines function and design.
