Padded to please and curved to cocoon, the chair features a woolly, tactile upholstery that feels like a gesture of kindness. Accompanied by matching pillows, the lounge chair allows for personalised nesting and comfort. Its bold silhouette makes an impact without demanding attention – just like the introverts it celebrates.

This collaboration with Robbie Williams marks the artist’s first foray into furniture design. Known for his energetic stage persona and legendary music career, Williams offers a surprising and tender perspective on privacy and personal space. ABOUT ROBBIE WILLIAMS

From pop icon to expressive visual artist, Robbie Williams brings the same raw, unfiltered energy that made him a global star into his second act: art. Since 2023, his artworks have taken centre stage at Moco Museum in Amsterdam, Barcelona and London, where his third solo exhibition, Radical Honesty, premiered Introvert Chair – a design collaboration with Moooi. His work is a bold, vulnerable exploration.

WRAPPED IN A HUG

The chair’s softly sculpted form and generously padded wooden frame with a swivel mechanism feels like being wrapped in a hug. Its signature tactile fabric — made with a blended composition including virgin wool, alpaca, and cotton — feels warm and comfortable while the optional matching Comfort Cushions and Security Blanket invite you to adjust and nest in your own way – creating a full emotional support system. Through an innovative 3D quilting technique, the fabric becomes a sculptural surface that is bold and highly crafted. Each chair’s cover is individually stitched, highlighting Moooi’s commitment to craftsmanship and detail. With its enveloping of inner life where anxiety, shame, ego, humour and healing all co-exist in the same frame. He invites us into a mind shaped by fame and fractured by pressure through these vivid, caricature-like forms. Just like how he puts it: “The things that destroyed me also made me successful.”
