Muriel’s Kitchen, inspired by the owner’s no nonsense grandmother whose kitchen was the heart of her home, originally opened in 2011 in South Kensington. It is an eatery that prides itself on serving “British Classics with a twist and a healthy dollop of love and passion”.
New menus are prepared monthly at Muriel’s and are inspired by hearty home cooked British food with a modern twist. All of the dishes are produced using British sourced fresh, quality ingredients which are prepared daily.
Owing to Muriel’s success, two new kitchen’s opened in 2013, one of them being positioned on London’s lively Leicester square. The restaurant has been personally designed by the owner and incorporates 1950’s charm with exciting new additions.
The Love Seat was designed in the 1950’s by ercol’s founder, Lucian Ercolani and is a timeless and classic design that encompasses turned lists and tapered legs which give this piece its distinctive ercol feel.
