Podgy Pendant | Ash Grey

Inspired by a photographer’s use of light equipment, PODGY strives to create an accurate illumination that serves the needs of everyday life. By combining several classic elements from Scandinavian design heritage with a refined expression focusing on composition and materiality Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen has put PODGY into a contemporary present.

Integral to PODGY is a honeycomb aluminium structure that casts a pleasingly diffuse light while also providing directed illumination. The honeycomb array was originally used by photographers to generate a soft and controlled light in the studio. The spherical dimmer on top of PODGY lets you adjust the density and intensity of light, besides changing the look and feel of the lamp, creating a playful interaction between the lamp and you.
