The battery-powered version of Mesh is an outdoor lamp that blends the formal lightness of its perforated body with a soft, enveloping light. The luminous diffusion through its micro-perforations creates an atmosphere of refined intimacy, perfect for terraces, decks or outdoor areas without fixed power supply.
Designed for maximum installation freedom, Mesh Battery recharges via USB and requires no wiring, making it ideal for contemporary spaces that demand both versatility and design.
Crafted with a weather-resistant finish, Mesh combines aesthetics, functionality and durability, offering a luminous element that enhances outdoor spaces with discreet elegance.
Konzept
MESH is a contemporary revisiting of the classic model of a bedside lamp, where the lampshade is made in turned aluminium, painted and resistant to corrosion. MESH thus becomes a suitable product for outdoor, resistant against water and weather. The light is diffused through small holes on the surface of the lampshade, creating a cozy atmosphere and lighting with special effect. Available as wall lamp, table lamp, with rod and pendant, the collection allows an unlimited use in projects, also due to the right balance between decoration
and technical performance. MESH is now also available in battery-powered version.
Technical information
Head and base made in corrosion resistant and painted aluminium. Protection with anodizing treatment, epoxy powder base coating and polyester painting. Rod made in corrosion resistant and painted stainless steel. Diffuser made in polycarbonate. Product with no visible screws.
Mesh battery
MESH, an IP65 outdoor luminaire, battery powered with switch and output modulation by infrared control. A new product with battery and high efficiency and durability has been developed on the same aesthetics of the previous version with power supply cable. It guarantees a luminous flux of 400 lm for 6 hour, by a charging time from 0 to 100% of 6 hours, by means of 1A charger.

Biography Marco Acerbis Born in 1973 Marco Acerbis graduates in architecture from Politecnico di Milano in 1998. From 1997 to 2004 he lives in London where he works with Lord Norman Foster’s Studio. Over these years he collaborates on the construction of an eight storey high Medical Research Building at the Imperial College Campus in London. He then becomes Project Architect for Capital City Academy, a 250 meter long High School building for 1400 students which was opened by Tony Blair. He sets up his own practice in Italy in 2004. Fascinated by designing at very different scales he quickly moves on to explore with a constant cross over of skills, ideas, tools and technologies all sorts of subjects to achieve a globally designed space. The Vertigo floor lamp, designed for Fontana Arte in 2004, was immediately acknowledged as a best seller and an icon of our time and is now included in Vitra Design Museum permanent collection. Prius door handle designed for Colombo Design wins a special mention at XXI Compasso d’Oro ADI. Kloe Armchair designed for Desalto wins the Red Dot Design Award 2009. His interest for contemporary issues takes him to be directly involved in sustainable architecture with the design and construction management of Xeliox Energy Lab and Polins. Xeliox Energy Lab is designed to be the first industrial building to be certified Class A in Italy. Polins is certified CasaClima Class A+, the best building standard.
