Indoor Version: bestehend aus einer tragenden Struktur aus Profilstahl 20x20 mm, gezogen und mit Epoxidpulvern Gunmetal grau beschichtet.
Bespannt mit elastischem Gurtgeflecht. Die Polsterung ist aus Polyurethanschaum und hat einen Bezug aus 100% Polyether der auf leichtem Polyamid-Samtstoff thermisch befestigt wird. Die Epoxidpulver beschichtetete Stahlstruktur Ø20 mm ist in der Farben Gunmetal grau lackiert, der tragende Rahmen wird mittels Stifte verbunden. Der Bezug aus Stoff oder Leder ist komplett abziehbar – gewährt mittels Reißverschlüssen. Outdoor Version: Tragende Struktur aus Stahlrohr 20x20 mm mit EpoxidPolyesterpulvern Gunmetal grau beschichtet. Bespannt mit elastischem Gurtgeflecht und mit EdelstahlHaken bezogen. Polsterung aus offenporigem Polyurethanschaum DRYFEEL S und Faser für Outdoor mit Schutzbezug in wasserabweisendem Stoff. EdelstahlRohr Basis AISI 316 Ø20 mm, mit Epoxidpulvern Gunmetal grau für
Aussenbereich beschichtet, auf das Gestell durch Gewinderstange fixiert.
Bezug nur mit Outdoor Stoffe, komplett abziehbar mittels Reißverschlüssen.
Konzept
Daybed made of supporting frame in coupled tubular steel structure, section 20x20mm, drawn and lacquered, sprung with coated rubber elastic straps; padding in polyurethane foam covered in 100% polyether thermally bonded onto a polyamide velveteen backing. Tubular steel base Ø20mm, lacquered with epoxy powder coating gunmetal grey colour, fitted to the supporting frame by means of pins. Fabric or leather upholstery, both fully removable by zippers.

Born in Fukuoka, Japan 1977. At age of 15, Keiji Takeuchi moved to New Zealand where he spent his youth. In 1999 while studying at an art school in New Zealand, he moved to Paris for a scholarship study at ENSCI / Les Ateliers. In 2003 he returned to Japan and since 2005 he has been a designer at Naoto Fukasawa Design ltd in Tokyo. In 2012, Takeuchi decided to move and to set up and lead a satellite office for Fukasawa in Milan. In 2014, Takeuchi started freelancing personal projects alongside his role for Fukasawa’s studio. During the same year, Takeuchi was selected by Giulio Cappellini as one of upcoming designers and in 2015 he worked on an installation project at KBIS Las Vegas for the Italian natural stone company Antolini in collaboration with him. This collaboration with G.Cappellini continues and Cappellini once again selected Takeuchi to participate to a project with Ceramica Flaminia for its 60th anniversary. This project was introduced during Milano salone 2015. In 2016 Takeuchi set up keiji takeuchi srls. Today Takeuchi is collaborating with various international brands such as Boffi, Amorim, Antolini, Henrytimi, and Flaminia while simultaneously following European and western design projects for Naoto Fukasawa. In 2016 after 2 years of Freelance work, Takeuchi established his design office in Milan. The office is focused on product design development from electronics to furniture. Currently working with international brands such as Boffi, Amorim, Antolini, Henrytimi, and Flaminia and the range of projects is expanding.
