Konzept
Rational and essential
Integrated, continuous seat and table system, the fruit of a study generally aimed at simplification and rationalisation. All the components are practical, hard-wearing and strong, to respond to the specific functional requirements of a classroom environment, integrating technological and multi-media features. It can be arranged in a straight line or curved composition, on large steps or on inclined flooring.
Flexible composition
Adaptable to suit any type of space, installation and maintenance operations are easy. Extruded anodised aluminium load-bearing bars, with ribbing and channels to fix complementary elements (uprights, writing tables, feet) with variable modularity, without the need for predefined drilling.
Seat and backrest
Tip-up seat with automatic return and ergonomic backrest, that follows the anatomical curve of the spine, made of plywood with natural wood or bi-laminate finish, or padded and covered with fabric.
The seat can be supplied with a cushioned automatic return on demand.
Fixed or tip-up writing table
Bi-laminate writing surface with ABS edge, available both fixed with bevelled edges or foldable and retractable. The folding writing top is equipped with a soft and cushioned closing system (Patent Pending) which guarantees a passage from the position of use to that of rest in a controlled, safe and silent manner thanks to the anti-panic movement.
First row panels
Made of plywood with finish matching the seat and backrest (in wood, in bilaminate or padded and covered), they can be fixed individually in a vertical position (height to cover the lower bar), for straight line or curved configurations. The first row can be also combined with conference armchairs.
Accessories
Solid wood or padded arms (in the version with tip-up table).
Row identification and seat numbering element.
Object-holder rack.
Provision for electric power supply and data cables.
Inter-row bar for installation without floor fixing.

Before Paolo Orlandini started his current company, having graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, he designed more than 500 products in 41 years together with Roberto Lucci.
