Apollo

Apollo is a floor lamp which perfectly combines the lightness of pure and transparent blown glass with the brutality of dense and elegant marble. Its slightly tilted silhouette was inspired by the eponymous American space capsule. The hidden light source creates a sculptural result for this luxurious and elegant piece. The glass part is mouth blown in a wooden mould in a traditional workshop in Bohemia. The slightly uneven thickness of the glass creates beautiful distortions and make each piece absolutely unique.
