Of her Grass collection, Jette Scheib emphasises that it is intended to express the peace that lies in the weaving process, and the connection of the basket makers with the nature around them. Her striped lights in warm colours evoke the landscape of cultivated fields. The craftsmanship is excellent, in a combination of handcrafted rattan hoops sublimated by hand-woven abaca thread.
