Tria Simple chair
Born from the rib of Tria chair and following its curve for unusual and new compositions. The shell, in bent plywood, is available in natural oak or stained black oak. The solid wooden base is held by the now “classic” 4 triangular legs. Combined with Tria Wood suggests interesting and dynamic effects, that can be displayed around a table or arrive to get the effect of a bench. There is the possibility to produce a customized colour (min 4 units) or veneer (min 20 units). Packaging 2 units.
Tria stool / stool high back
Variation on Tria Simple, with lower back, this stool is suitable both for homes and contract. The shell in bent plywood is available in veneered natural oak or stained coffee. The base is in solid natural oak or stained, supported by the now “classic” 4 triangular legs, with a reinforced section compared to chairs. Possibility of customized colours, (min. 4 pieces) and veneers (min 20 pieces).The sitting may be padded and upholstered in leather or fabric.

From 1986-91 she studied Industrial Design at the Fachhochschule Darmstadt, where she graduated in January 1991 with a Diploma in Industrial Design. In the same year she started to work for Hollington Associates in London. In 1993, back again in Germany she works for Tinz.DCC and Via 4 Design. In 1995 she starts working with Sottsass Associati in Milan, where she stays until autum 1999. Since then, she works in her own studio in Milan for clients like Antonio Lupi and Zeitraum, Since 2002 she is a consultant for DuPont Surfaces, U.S.A. She is also realizing several Interior projects. Apart from working for other clients, they launched their own furniture line, which they produce and sell under the label Lorenz * Kaz.

From 1990-1994 he studied Industrial Design at the Accademy of Art in Hamburg, continued at the Royal College of Art in London, where he completed his studies in August 1996 with a Master Degree in Furniture. Few months later he moves to New york, working for a Media Company and various other Design Studios. Back in Europe in 1998, he starts working for James Irvine in Milan, where he stays until autumn 2001. Since then, he works in his own studio in Milan. He is collaborating in many projects with Catharina Lorenz, working for clients like FontanaArte, Bedont, Present Perfekt, Zoltan Gruppo DePadova and Segno. Apart from working for other clients, they launched their own furniture line, which they produce and sell under the label Lorenz * Kaz. Since Spring 2003 he is Professor at the University of Bolzano, teaching at the Faculty of Art and Design.
