Das Debüt des dänischen Designers Mikal Harrsen bei Cassina überzeugt durch seine Kreativität. Ghost Wall ist ein System aus dekorativen Paneelen, das für die Einrichtung aller Räume gedacht ist, vom Eingangsbereich bis zum Schlafzimmer. Die breite Palette an Wohnaccessoires und Einrichtungsgegenständen und die große Auswahl an Materialien und Farben machen Ghost Wall zu einem vielseitigen und bereichsübergreifenden Projekt, das perfekt ist, um originale Kompositionen zu schaffen, und zahllosen Interpretationsmöglichkeiten Raum gibt.

Geprägt wird der innovative Charakter dieses offenen Schranksystems durch die geringe Dicke von 30 mm der Paneele und Halterungen, durch die der Rahmen mit der Umgebung verschmilzt und die Wand wie die Leinwand eines Gemäldes zum Vibrieren gebracht wird. Die Paneele werden von Zahnstangen aus extrudiertem Aluminium eingerahmt und gehalten und sind in verschiedenen Oberflächen aus lackiertem oder furniertem Holz, verspiegeltem Glas oder Glas mit lackierter Rückseite sowie aus Stoff erhältlich, auch in einer Version, die auf eine ad hoc ausgeführte Dekoration oder die Applikation der eigenen Tapete ausgelegt ist. Für dieses offene Schranksystem ist außerdem eine breite Palette an Zubehör erhältlich, wie eine Aufhängung für den Fernseher, Regale unterschiedlicher Tiefe mit Boden aus hochwertigem Glas, die mit einer LED-Beleuchtung ausgestattet werden können, Regale mit Kleiderstange mit Mikrofaserbeschichtung für das sichere und leise Aufhängen der Kleiderbügel, und ein Spiegel. Erweitert wird die Kollektion mit modularen Regalen, mit denen sich durch das Spiel von leeren und ausgefüllten Flächen Fächer für Bücher schaffen lassen, und mit hängenden lackierten Schubladen mit einer Oberseite, die in verschiedenen Marmorsorte, verspiegeltem Glas oder Glas mit lackierter Rückseite eingefasst ist.

Die Vielseitigkeit dieser Kollektion zeigt sich auch in der Ablagefläche, die je nach Höhe, in der sie angebracht wird, als Ablage oder Schreibtisch fungieren kann.

Ergänzt wird die Kollektion mit Sideboards mit matter Lackierung in zwei Breiten und Höhen und Abdeckplatte nach Wahl in den gleichen Oberflächen wie die hängenden Schubladen.

Ghost Wall, the first project for Cassina by architect Mikal Harrsen, dresses the home with elegance and functionality. Versatile and with broad appeal, this system of decorative panels includes a vast range of accessories and complementary pieces that fit perfectly into various areas of the home, starting from the entrance, leading to the living room and onto the bedroom.

The art of decoration in a wall unit

Discreet, stylish and tactile, decorative panels are the heart of this complete system. As the name suggests, the panels and their supports are almost invisible, thanks to their reduced depth (approximately 30 mm) allowing for a wide range of use and innovative applications.

Ghost Wall is all about creativity. On one hand, its slender depth allows the panels to blend into the wall, on the other, like the canvas of a painting, the system employs a wide selection of materials and colours. The panels come in various types of lacquered or veneered wood, mirrored or back-lacquered glass, fabric, and even in a customisable decorative version for the application of one’s own wallpaper. Ghost Wall is therefore open to infinite interpretations for personalising one’s interior decor.

Freely combinable and practical

Available in various sizes and able to be mixed and matched in different configurations, the pieces that form Ghost Wall can be freely combined based on the needs of each area of the home.

Framed and supported by extruded aluminium racks with integrated power access, the panels are enhanced with a series of handy accessories. Outstanding among these are versatile pieces like the pewter coloured aluminium shelves of different depths with premium quality glass tops illuminated by LED lights, a shelf with a side-lit clothes rack clad with microfibre, a detail that allows coat hangers to be silently placed, and a mirror that, in addition to reflecting one’s image, lends depth to the room.

The collection is completed with a set of drawers ideal for organising space and keeping personal belongings well-ordered. Matte lacquer finished, they are available in two different widths and heights and have an inset top that comes in several types of marble, mirrored glass or back-lacquered glass.
