Pinna (“fin” in Italian) is a three-dimensional sound-absorbing structure, a sculpture of sorts, reminiscent of the fin of a large fish which fans out wide with a curvature whose pleated fabric creates a delightful wavy surface appearance. Pinna is the result of a dialogue between different production expertise: the intrinsic technology of Snowsound Fiber combines with the craftsmanship of high fashion in its attention to the materials and fabric.
The pleated fabric is wrapped around a metal supporting frame. It can be easily removed to wash and replaced. Pinna can be fastened to the wall or installed on the ceiling.
Konzept
Dreidimensionale Schalldämmstruktur, die sich fächerförmig in einer durch die Falten des
plissierten Stoffes suggerierten Kurve wie die Flosse eines großen Fisches entfaltet. Pinna etabliert
einen Dialog unter verschiedenen Produktionserfahrungen: Die Schalldämmtechnologie der Produkte
Snowsound Fiber fließt mit den Textilverarbeitungstechniken aus der Modebranche zusammen.
Die interne Tragstruktur ist aus lackiertem Stahl. Das System ist abziehbar.
