The 73 semi-rigid is a flexible suspension system enables pendants to be nestled in close-knit groups or loosely composed in a wider field, allowing each piece to be perceived individually. 73.3 is a low voltage arrangement of 3 blown-glass pendants, designed to be composed in atmospheric configurations. Each pendant is hand blown into a folded and highly heat-resistant ceramic fabric vessel and is housed with a 10-watt xenon or 1.5-watt LED lamp.
Konzept
73 results from blowing liquid glass into a folded and highly heat-resistant ceramic fabric vessel. The resulting shape has the form and texture intuitively associated with fabric, but with the optics and tactility of glass. A flat light source is positioned to fill the resulting volume with diffuse light, encouraging a volumetric reading.
