Surface Design Show 2024 returns to The Business Design Centre in London from 6-8 February 2024. The

event choice of choice for architects and designers, it is the place where the entire industry immerses

themselves in the latest materials for the built environment.

This year's theme is ‘Mindful Living’ which explores the balance between design intuition and analytical

thinking to achieve meaningful experiences. A well-known feature for the theme is Surface Spotlight Live, the

material showcase expands your mind on cutting-edge surfaces, processes and finishes, all curated by design &

trend expert Sally Angharad. Through a range of debates, panels and trend forecasts over the two- and half-

day event, the Mindful Living theme is further explored through the Opening Night Debate and the Legends

Live series. The eagerly awaited Surface Design Awards is once again receiving global recognition and attract

an impressive number of entries from across the globe. Judged by an expert panel co-chaired by Charlotte

McCarthy, Head of Interiors at Heatherwick Studio and Nimi Attanayake, Director & co-founder of NimTim

Architects. A new feature for 2024 is a charity partnership with Furnishing Futures. This sustainable and

heartwarming charity creates full furnished and designed homes for women and children who have escaped

domestic abuse.
