Made from recycled shirt sleeves coated in EcoPoxy resin, these stand-alone vases are uniquely designed and sculpted to become functional artistic products. The interior of the vase is sealed and can hold water.
Konsep
Inspired by the parallels between the structure of denim and fiberglass, designer Vedat Ulgen applies a thermosetting technique to pairs of recycled jeans by coating the durable fabric with Eco-epoxy resin, making an otherwise unsustainable practice environmentally friendly. Through trial and error and painstaking attention to the drapery of each piece, Vedat perfected the process of transforming old clothing into durable furniture — and works of art.
