Chester One

A prestigious and exclusive reissue of a grand historic tradition, Chester One develops into a collection. The four-seater sofa, an elegant and generously-proportioned reinterpretation of one of the most iconic pieces from the Poltrona Frau Archives, is accompanied by a three-seater version, an armchair and a pouf. In each piece, the artisan mastery and zest for perfection, which have been the hallmark of Poltrona Frau since its beginnings, can be seen in the capitonné effect workmanship and in the series of tacks that give a finishing touch to the leather on the backs of the seats.

The vegetable horsehair of the padding in the backrest and armrests is hand-modelled. The springs are eight-way springs, tied by hand and supported on jute webbing. The frame is in seasoned beech-wood. The legs, also in beech-wood, are available in a low version with a natural finish, dark walnut and lacquered black. In the high version, they are also available in leather-upholstered beech-wood or in polished aluminium. The upholstering is in Pelle Frau® leather. The seat cushions, padded with goose down with an insert in polyurethane foam, are available with Pelle Frau® leather or fabric upholstery.
