Bench THEO is individually customisable, as special requests can be made regarding dimensions and finishes. The model shown has a length of 180 cm, a height of 45 cm and a width of 40 cm. THEO has a bank board made from recycled timber. However, other types of wood (for example beech or oak) or an top with waned edges are available upon request.
Konsep
A Bench made from scaffolding tube and timber.
The rough and imperfect look of the steel gives this bench an industrial appearance. The wooden seat contrasts with the metal, as rugged materials meet filigree shapes.
The galvanized steel frame supports a 4 cm-thick bench plate made of recycled lumber, which is connected to the frame by pipe clamps. The plate is treated with environmentally friendly organic oil, which highlights the unique grain of the wood. The THEO bench excels in the dining or living area as an outstanding design piece, or delights when paired with the MERGELLAND dining table to produce a unique dining set.
