Refined elegance and research of the maximum comfort are the main characteristics of Akita, the modular sofa designed by Alessandro Castello and Antonietta Lagravinese.
The generous dimensions of the seat and the extreme softness of the backrests invites us to get lost on an experience of absolute relax. The inclined shape of the arm, further to give character and personality to the silhouette of the sofa, can be used as a comfortable backrest, everytime when laying, suggesting different ways of “living” its own sofa. Sawn as a tailor made dress, the cover is characterized by a simple seam or even enriched with a fabric piping, leather or gros-grain, that enhances the elegant lines. Distinctive sign of this product is the structure in solid ashwood, produced as a precious piece of woodwork. The original oblique cut of the feet of conical section, in fact, not only enriches the veins of the wood, but transmits a sense of light airy to this refined creation Busnelli. The supporting structure is made of multilayer and agglomerated wood section. The padding is in polyurethane foam C.F.C-free with differentiated density and fiber 100% polyester. The seat cushion is in goose feather with a core of polyurethane foam cfc-free with different densities. The back cushion is made of fiber with memory chips. Completely removable cover in fabric by removing the screwed base. Leather cover non-removable. Materials as per finishing data sheet.

Sharing their passion for design and fashion, in 2008 ALESSANDRO and MARIA ANTONIETTA created the brand ONLYMITED, for which they designed a collection of exclusive pieces in a limited numbered series, inspired by the world of fashion in details and finishing. After this entrepreneurial experience they founded CASTELLO LAGRAVINESE STUDIO, located in Carate Brianza, close to Brianza's production core. Care and attention to the client, a double look on projects and the research for innovative elements are the factors which distinguish them and allow them to create unique pieces where contemporary style winks at tradition in an ironic and innovative way. Since their debut, they have been collaborating both as designers and art directors with important companies of the world of luxury and contemporary furniture creating products and collection clearly tailoring inspired with great attention to details. Among their clients: Roche Bobois, Casamilano, Opera Contemporary, Ulivi, Cantori, Black and Controluce by Alberta, Busnelli and Cinova by Former, Berto. Curious to every aspect of design, in their job, they not only design products, but they also like to create a world around their pieces made of images, accessories, atmospheres and everything that contributes to the strength of a brand. As art directors they contribute to the creation of new brands, starting from the study of concept and logo, collaborating with companies both for the product design and for all the aspects related to their corporate image: from the choice of the location for the shootings, to the careful realization of catalogues and projects for stand, showrooms and corners worldwide.
