In 2013, Ernesto Gismondi, founder of Artemide, designed Ilio, a floor lamp reduced to its essentials, combining geometric synthesis with rich colors and expressing productive and functional intelligence. Ilio embodies more than just modern design. It is the essence of elegance and functionality.

Today, more than a decade later, Ilio is more in demand than ever. Ernesto Gismondi's original sketches became the inspiration for a complete family of lights. The characteristic profile is cut into two different lengths to create ceiling and pendant lights. The simple but striking shape is equipped with optical intelligence that offers high efficiency while limiting direct glare.
