Belinda Nadwie is an Australian painter. She paints intuitively without preconception, working with oil paint, charcoal, spray paint and oil crayons. Her paintings capture a fleeting moment in time, portraying the mood and the inspiration of that particular moment of inspiration. The artworks come together spontaneously in a vibrant union of light, color and texture. Although the works are predominantly non-representational, there are moments in which physical landscapes manifest across the canvas. The works are energetic, and she likes to think that her abstracts all have a sense of enduring optimism. Belinda has been painting since the age of 5; exhibitions and accomplishments are countless. Her works are held in private collections in London, New York, Texas, California, Japan, Denmark, New Zealand and hundreds across Australia.
