Valoa means light. We design products that light up spaces and light up lives.

Established in 2011, Valoa by Aurora is a new design company from Finland.

Our products are designed by Finnish Canadian industrial designer Aurora Nieminen and are manufactured in Finland. Our ideas are inspired by contrasts and our design aim is to blend contrasting elements into a

balanced aesthetical product, yet remaining true to the principles of Scandinavian design.

Our first collection, NOA LED pendants combine felt shades made in part from recycled plastic with high quality led technology. Suitable for a variety of uses in offices, hotels, restaurants and homes the pendant offers a soft approach to led technology.

We also work together with architects and project managers to develop space specific lighting and product solutions.
