pliet – New Furniture and Lights

pliet is a design brand based in Hamburg. It was founded in spring 2012 by the two designers Dominik Lutz and Lutz Pankow.

pliet means in northern German slang „intelligent thought“. It´s derived from the low German term plietsch – intelligent, bright, smart, clever, cute.

Our passion is to design clever, durable and aesthetic products on a high quality level. All products can be integrated in various interiors, they are often modular and they are adaptable to changing living conditions. So they are able to become a lifetime companion in your living interior.

The production at local manufacturers with domestic materials guarantee our sustainable approach for each product. Our lights use latest energy saving LED and fluorescent lamp technology to fulfil our responsibility for environment friendly lighting.

The 'pliet' collection is entirely designed in Hamburg and made in Germany.
