Founded in 1904 as an iron and metal bed factory, Embru is still synonymous with Swiss tradition and quality. Our headquarters, factory and joinery are located in the Zurich Oberland region.

The Embru home furnishings catalogue covers everything from garden furniture to a range of design classics for private and public spaces, as well as seating and tables for lounges and workplaces. Many classic pieces created in the 1930s are still relevant today. Avant-garde architects Werner Max Moser, Alfred Roth and Marcel Breuer all designed important furniture for Embru that has become an integral part of Swiss design history. Embru has been developing and producing garden furniture since the 1930s. Among them is the spaghetti chair, which became a design classic, but also contemporary models by Swiss designers.
