The designers Patrik Fredrikson and Ian Stallard are known for their experimental creations. The form of this fibre-glass seating, for example, is created by the hardening of foam material. Fredrikson Stallard mix old traditions with avant-garde ideas, and seem to have an aversion to computers.

Fashionistas already know the designers from the new CHANEL store in L. A., for which they designed a table with white feathers enclosed in glass – a reference to the classical CHANEL N°5 box and a typical Fredrikson Stallard creation, combining simple surfaces of graphic clarity with subliminal themes of opulent and sensuous darkness.
