From the design alphabet
This is a conversation piece which seamlessly integrates design with the practical needs of today. ’XY’ refers to the legs. When viewed from the front, it appears to be an x, but from the side it looks like a y. A striking element of the tabletop is that it narrows towards the ends. This has a practical as well as aesthetic function. It gives the table its elegant look and also allows everyone at the table to see and be seen by everyone else.

XY is available in solid ash (carbon or white blanched) or American walnut (matte lacquer).
