Vita is the result of a seven-letter language producing orderly sequences ruled by taste and functionality. The name comes from the translation into Italian of 'game of Life' -'Gioco della Vita' - created by the mathematician John Conway late in the Sixties. This simulates development, decadence and variations in living organisms.
Components and structure
The modules are differentiated by the depth of the shelves and the dims of the cabinets.
These can be used based on the four main rotations: to each rotation corresponds a different use of the module and a different dialogue with the adjoining elements
Colours and materials
The modules are made from MD wood fibreboards, in matt white lacquer.
The cabinet of the module is also available in anthracite, yellow, sand and light blue.
Sizes
Each square element is 60cm large; shelves are 22 or 33cm in depth, cabinets 35cm.
Versions
A steel frame supports the modules grid. This can be hung to the wall or resting on the ground.
A spacer allows the access of cables for any kind of audio-visual connection. This version, which needs to be resting on the ground, provides small openings for cables in anodized aluminium.
