The biggest challenge in designing Bivaq’s new Vint collection was creating a product which was suitable for both minimalist and contemporary settings, as well as more rustic and informal spaces.

References to the formal styles of the 50’s and 60’s are evident in this collection. Tapered tubing, combinations of round and rectangular sections; a formal language transferred from the wood to the aluminium. As such we created a neo-retro piece, a reinterpretation of something already existing.

The Vint collection stands out for its retro look, cushions built into the structure... and comfort. The cone-shaped legs enhance the retro look of the whole collection, and give it a vintage, yet modern touch.

The Vint collection comprises of a 1and 2 seats sofa, short and long bench, dining armchair, low armchair, low and high barstools, low tables made with iroko wood or compact, in different sizes: Ø45, Ø60, Ø110, 130x60 oval and dining tables.
All metal components are polyester painted aluminium.

The cushions, covered with either mass-coloured acrylic fabric or vinytex (made from polyester and PVC), contain a waterproof layer. All materials used are suitable for outdoor use, and are resistant to weathering and sunlight. Thanks to the design, construction technology and materials used, the strength of the Vint collection allows for intensive use in both public facilities and private housing.

The tables, square, rectangular or round, come with table-tops covered in aluminium sheeting, painted in a range of colours, or solid iroko wood, another element which strengthens the vintage furniture concept.

Vint is manufactured in various standard colour structures: copper brown, white, taupe, ivory, graphite; however, other colours and finishes may be requested, depending on the volume of the order.

We have also added new finishes to this collection, featuring a combination of aluminium colours and new, contemporary fabrics. Colours such as aquamarine hues, turquoise green, blue and marsala, and vintage fabrics such as chartres, complete this collection.
