AMOS combines old techniques inspired by Japanese culture and textiles, with innovative fabrics. AMOS was derived from "Itajime shibori", a traditional Japanese dyeing technique that produces a batik-like pattern. The Christian Fischbacher design team used this process to create an original pattern that was then printed on a flame-retardant Trevira CS fabric. At the top of the Christian Fischbacher collection is a special gem that illustrates once again the fascination for fine fabrics that underlies the 2012 Spring Collection: GRANDE FINALE is a textile treasure based on the silk fabric, CRESCENDO, from the 2011 Spring Collection. A lace design is woven onto a complex dégradé consisting of seven different warp threads. The result is a luxury fabric of the highest quality.
