With the new suspension luminaire Twin, serien.lighting presents a sophisticated solution for direct table lighting: the style is elegant, the lighting flexible. Its design makes Twin excellent for illuminating both, small areas and large tables, which makes the suspension luminaire the ideal choice for lighting tables that can be extended.

The centerpiece of Twin both in constructional and design terms is a flexible hinge: The two inter- laced luminaire arms are fitted with a sturdy swivel joint. This means Twin can be moved infinitely and its light can move with you if desired.

Exposed in this manner the aesthetics of the mechanism used in Twin is shown to full advan- tage. The design comes across as emphatically calm and pleasantly light. Fine cables support the luminaire body and simultaneously provide the light. The material used in the suspension luminaire – chrome-plated aluminum – gives Twin a refined elegance; Twin accentuates areas without appearing intrusive or overpowering.

In keeping with its purpose as table lighting the suspension luminaire offers bright and direct but also gentle and atmospheric light. Inside both shades there is a translucent reflector; conse- quently, the light emitted at the sides is diffuse and soft, while the light emerging from the shade opening is bright, directed and shadow-free.
