Designer Monica Förster has created a new table for OFFECCT with an intense identity and some highly innovative functions. The table itself gives a timeless impression but does not look like any other piece of furniture in the same field of application. The table includes a removable tray, which can be used without the table losing its function as a surface on which to place objects. TRAY stands for flexibility and supports new ways of socialising and working. The table encourages people to meet and interact in different ways, and fits in perfectly with OFFECCT’s overall design strategy of finding solutions for Creative Meeting Places.

Many trays look good but they have a tendency to scratch tables and other surfaces. The underside of the TRAY tray has an anti-glide surface that both protects and keeps the tray from slipping.

When put together the tray and the table interlock and present a regular table surface with a storage space within. Trays can also be stacked on top of each other, turning the table into a storage piece for trays.

Tray table in laminated birch with white lacquered finish. Always one attached tray and one loose. Bottom of tray covered with red polyurethane acting as anti-slip. White lacquered metal support.

Ø 50 x H 53 cm
