A large-sized bench, formed by two blocks of “lamellé collé” solid larch wood which ensures the sustainability of the forests, reducing the ecological impact. It offers different possibilities of use, optimal for public and private leisure areas. The Trapecio bench stands out thanks to its original design and the beauty provided by the space which receives it.
Materials and finishes
4.50m long structural wooden beams made of 20 x 40 cm larch sections, then glued and shaped. Treated with high-pressure and oil in two components. The two blocks are fixed to the supports made of hot-galvanised steel platens fixed onto the wood with anti-rust steel screws. The larch Wood comes from Central Europe. Larch Wood without alburnum and resin, type C24 according to EN338, with humidity between 8 and 15%. This Wood has been obtained in compliance with all legal and enviromental standards of the country of origin, thus ensuring forest sustainability and preventing ecological impact. This Wood does not come from primary forests.
The element is fixed using mechanical blocks and concrete cube, 10 cm below ground level. The bench is delivered disassembled. Assembly instructions are provided with the bench. Assembly screws and fixing blocks come with the support.
No functional maintenance is required except to preserve original wood colour.
