Floor lamp created from extruded polycarbonate and then transformed using an innovative technique ‘torsion thermo-formation’’. Inside the lamp are low-energy fluorescent lights. ‘Tozeur’ distorts reality: the twisting form camouflages the geometry of the piece rendering it almost impossible to define.
“Tozeur: like a tower, an architectural monolith that is incredibly simple but at the same time indefinable. The name Tozeur means ‘a non-place’ perhaps a non place is every place. The combination of light and diffusion creates a unique and doublepersonality: when turned off it has an intriguing form: personal brilliant, rich and essential. Once turned on it’s the perfect lamp for sophisticated and minimalist interiors.”
