Table Program 570 was designed by Dieter Rams in 1957. The classic is distinguished through its distinctive styling as well as the name “double panel table”. The double panel lends the table an optical lightness, while offering the greatest possible functionality by expanding the surface area of the shelving. The table stands on four aluminium legs, which are attached at each stabile double panel to the corners. Thus the table offers the greatest possible seating options. The double panel is either coated with laminate or in various types of woods veneers. The optical lightness of the tables is effectively underscored by the material combinations. If two table legs are replaced with suspension rails, the table can be integrated into Shelving System 606. The timeless aesthetic and the functional design enables an individual use as dining room table, workplace or conference table.
