Frame consisting of solid teak. The struts, hubs and poles are impregnated to protect and preserve them. (Hubs and poles crafted of laminated and bonded layers) build a strong, water-resistant frame. Teak frames are extremely resistant to rot and weathering therefore extremely long lasting. The naturally occurring ingredients in teak provide a beautifully seasoned look as well as natural weather resistance. However, some of these substances can leach out and stain the covers. The foil inserted between the frame and the cover is to protect against staining during shipping and has to be removed before first use.

The covers are made of a reinforced cotton blend fabric (50% polyester, 50% cotton) or Dolan® (100% acrylic fabric). An air vent is generally included. These fabrics are water-repellent and have been impregnated with a finish that inhibits mold formation. However, this does not guarantee total water impermeability under prolonged exposure to rain. Aprons and tarpaulins can be fitted as on our The Klassiker.
