Vases of large size and thickness, made of “flashed” glass, identifying in the technical jargon used by Murano glassmaking masters the technique of putting different shades of the same colour one on top of the other with layers of transparent glass in between. With another valuable finish: the outside, which is covered with a layer of opaque vitreous paste, is ground in a way that still allows the internal colour to show through.
Materials and finishes: flashed, blown and hand-ground Murano glass
Colour: white-aquamarine, white-amber, black-light green, black-steel grey
Dimensions: 25 x 15 x h 35 cm.
